Alto baroque after Bressan
This recorder is the copy of an exceptional original instrument owned by Edgar Hunt. It is now in the Bate collection in Oxford. It was created by Bressan, who could be considered the "Stradivarius" of the recorder.
The original has a 403 Hz pitch. I replicate it in 403 Hz, 415 Hz and 440 Hz.
This model's refined tone, rich harmonics and balance between the high and low register make it ideal for solo baroque music : Bach, Haendel, ....
Wood used : Boxwood (natural or stained).
Pitch : 403Hz, 415Hz or 440 Hz.
